L’accumulation des articles sur la différence entre hypnotique intraveineux (propofol) ou inhalé (halogéné) ces dernières années me turlupine. Il semble que le propofol soit protecteur lors d’une chirurgie pour cancer. Les patients vivraient plus vieux, avec moins de localisations secondaires.On ne peut pas être anesthésiste, s’occuper de patients avec un cancer et ne pas lire l’article de Nature Reviews de Hiller.
Vu le peu débat possible sur une éventuelle supériorité des halogénés sur un autre volet de la santé des patients, mon choix va désormais se porter sur le propofol en SAP pour les patients atteints d’un cancer donc je vais m’occuper. Plusieurs études randomisées sont en cours, je vais suivre de près les résultats. Chez vous ça se passe comment ? Une réflexion est-elle menée ?
